The Weekend 5: Brunch so hard

You need weekend plans, and it’s been 20 minutes since I told someone how to live their lives, so here are five things I insist you do this weekend. It’s basically just breakfast and beer.

Two of my favorite spots for beverages are teaming up and hosting a tasting at one of my favorite places to both drink and eat. Try Scarlet Lane’s new double IPA or Tinker’s hopped coffee. You read that right: hopped coffee.

The Indy Winter Farmers Market is re-opening at the Circle City Industrial Complex, so don’t go downtown Saturday morning!

Avant Brunch  sold out as it always does, and this one promised to be killer with Neal Brown cooking up the food and The Besnard Lakes providing sound.  Since you can’t get to that one, try this all-sausage dinner instead on Sunday. It’s going to be fun and phallic.

milktoothIf you can’t get out to any of these events, just check out my list of the 15 Best Brunches in Indianapolis and console yourself with some quality eats and a mimosa on Saturday or Sunday morning. Eat the weekend, y’all.
