We’ve all met our fair share of loud, self-righteous vegans and vegetarians. In laymen’s terms, they’re “the worst.”
So allow me to introduce to you to The Onion’s casting director, Stephanie Potakis, who not only falls off the vegetarian wagon in the most spectacular fashion, but in doing so, perfectly verbalizes what we meat eaters occasionally take for granted. Now, part of this euphoria is no doubt thanks to the kitchen at Swift & Sons in Chicago, but you can’t help but get instant feels of welcoming a wayward friend or daughter home again when she gets her first taste of rare beef. You know that blissful beef expression. We all do. Ah, like it was always meant to be.
